Recently, the SANY 408P electric mixer truck equipped with the Haixing Intelligent Driving Advanced Assistance System ADAS was the first to pass the actual vehicle test certification of five regulations in the EU' s new GSR, and is the first electric engineering vehicle product in China to obtain the latest WVTA certificate.

This marks that SANY 's electric mixer truck has obtained the latest market access license from EU member states, further accelerating SANY 's globalization strategy and consolidating SANY 's global leading position in the field of electric engineering vehicles.

In 2019, the EU promulgated the General Safety Regulation Regulation (EU) 2019/2144 (hereinafter referred to as the new GSR), adding a number of safety technical requirements to strengthen the protection of vehicle occupants and vulnerable road users (pedestrians, cyclists, etc.), reduce traffic accidents and casualties, and ensure that vehicles have higher safety. The regulations stipulate that from July 2024, all commercial vehicles registered in the EU must be equipped with corresponding ADAS functions.

This time, the SANY 408P electric mixer truck passed the five advanced auxiliary intelligent driving functions of the EU' s new GSR, including the intelligent vehicle speed assistance system ISA, the driver fatigue warning system DDAW, the departure information prompt system MOIS, the blind spot information prompt system BSIS, and the reversing information prompt system REIS.

ISA is used to warn the driver and instruct the driver to reduce the driving speed when the driver exceeds the speed limit. According to regulatory requirements, the intelligent vehicle speed assistance system should provide the speed limit information function (SLIF) and the speed limit warning function (SLWF) to the vehicle in the human-machine interface. Before the test, SANY 's intelligent speed assistance system ISA had been tested on roads for more than 6,000 kilometers in ten European member states, with 431 kilometers of actual road driving, covering cities, rural areas, and highways. The single-scene recognition accuracy was no less than 90%, and the overall accuracy reached 96%.

DDAW is a device that uses the driver's physiological image, facial features, eye signals, head movement, etc. to infer whether the driver is in a state of fatigue. When the driver is driving fatigued, it will issue an alarm and take corresponding measures.

MOIS can monitor and inform the driver of the presence of pedestrians and cyclists in the short-distance blind spot in front of the vehicle; BSIS is used to monitor and remind the driver of the collision risk in the right blind spot when the truck/bus turns; REIS is used to assist the vehicle in reversing and avoid unnecessary collisions through real-time reversing images.

This test and certification was conducted under the supervision of TÜV Rheinland, an internationally recognized certification body. The test results show that the SANY 408P electric mixer truck is highly safe and reliable and meets EU regulatory standards. At the same time, its Haixing Intelligent Driving Advanced Assistance System ADAS has strong adaptability and scalability and can be quickly transplanted to other host models.
